What's Happening?
I just love flashbacks when I was younger, it's amazing how the human mind reminds you of small details but at the same time, I don't remember what I ate yesterday lmao, anyways I'm going to write the flashbacks that happened to me when I was younger, and funny memories as well!
Pool time?
My first flashback is my first memory but it's a horrible memory though, it's a very dark and horrible time to me, so to begin with it was my first time getting stitches and was on my chin, what happened was I was copying what my friend was doing in the pool as she was jumping in the pool from behind which turning her back to the pool and jumping backward, so i was a little young girl who was five at the time, but what happened was when I copied her I didn't get far enough when jumped to the pool so my chin hit the edge and injured myself, so I really remember my point of view of people getting me out of the pool and rushing me to the doctor, which was horrible at the time but at the same time when i grew up I laugh when I remember.
Winning point!?
Basically, I used to play volleyball when I was like seven years old, so one of my golden memories is when it was the last game and the coach made me start on the serve because he knew that I could play serve with a technique and acing it, so what happened was that we were 2 -2 and it was the last game for us, and the stress was a lot, I won the game by serving 15 points and 6 of them were ace, I don't know how but it was one of the golden memories that I'm proud of until now like I remember my hands when I served that last point and all the team were running and cheering me because of the points that i got.
YOU BIT ME?
One of the funniest memories that I have with my cousin, it was my birthday when I was three years old, he's a few months younger than me and both of were teething, so biting thing was normal but not on each other lol, anyways we were fighting over a stupid doll that came to me in my birthday but he refused to give it to me, I pushed him and he started biting my arm and he has like little teeth but it hurt so much because it was so sharp like a knife, he bit me and made bloody marks on my arm.
Oh dear, I could see where the first memory was going and was cringing before I even read it. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteMy first memory is when I was two or three and my dad sat me on top of the car while the rest of my family packed up either for a holiday or to move house (we moved a few times before the age of 7). That's all there is to the memory but I remember loving sitting on top of the car!
that's so nice!
DeleteHa, it is impressive how our mind works when it comes to memories. My very first memory I think it is when I was still in diapers, mother was awy from home and my father was thying to catch me while I was crawling to change them. Silly memory....I know.. :)
ReplyDeleteno its not silly, its cute and adorable!

DeleteOuch, I winced when I read your first memory - poor you! The second one sounds amazing though! Got to love those moments of triumph, especially when you're little and it means so much! I think my earliest memory is climbing up a grassy hill all covered in daisies in the summer, when I was a toddler. I had a black and white kitten who used to come and play with me outdoors, and I think he was there that day! :)
ReplyDeletethat is so cute!
DeleteMy first memory was being at nursery and mixing red powder paint wrong and getting told off for it!

I can remember some sweet memories with my family when I was younger. It’s to dwell on good memories.
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice!
DeleteOuch, your first memory sounds very painful! I think mine is when I cut my knee open when I was four, unless I'm mistaken. Thanks for sharing, I love thinking back on old memories!

DeleteThe flashback that I see at times are snippets of me being in the university, time where I can travel freely and moments in a cafe. :) Thanks for sharing this post.
ReplyDeletethank you for you lovely comment :)
DeleteI’d say some of my fondest memories were in a swimming pool, I’d spend hours swimming up and down. Although, our local swimming pool had a huge slide with stairs leading up to it which I somehow always managed to fall up and cut my legs to bits. Gotta love looking back to our younger days. Thanks for sharing Xo
