Happy St. Patrick's Day!



So What is Saint Patrick's Day and Why its on 17th of March?

Basically Saint Patrick's Day is a global celebration that 6 countries until now celebrate it (Ireland, Canada, USA, UK, France and Australia). its a celebration of the Irish culture as it is considered as a religious celebration as it is the death date of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland as he was responsible for bringing Christianity in the Ireland culture in the fifth centery.


People celebrate this national day, specially the Irish organization and communities as they wear green as well as they dye their food green as a part of this celebration, parties features specific food like (Irish brown bread, Corned beef and cabbage, Beef and Guinness pie, Irish cream chocolate mousse cake, Irish coffee, Irish potato champ, also known as poundies, cally or pandy, Irish stew and Irish potato soup.
 
The Symbol Cammock which represents the celebration as it is a special leaf that represents the holy trinity as that's why they prefer to wear green and eat greenish stuff on that special day. 

There are a lot of different religious symbols in Ireland that include snakes and the harp, but people say the symbol of the saint Patrick is powerful and many people believe that he put the sun symbol as well.
