What's Happening?
Biz Markie is one of the oldest rappers that started their career early back in the day, he died today at the age of 57, he's an American with the name of Marcel Theo Hall, as he was known back in 1986 as he was a large hip hop figure and always celebrated with a spirited personality, he has always been known for the song" Just A Friend" which was a great hit in 1989.
The death was confirmed by his manager (Jenni D. Izumi) as he stated thru email to NPR:
"We are grateful for the many calls and prayers of support that we have received during this difficult time, Biz created a legacy of artistry that will forever be celebrated by his industry peers and his beloved fans whose lives he was able to touch through music, spanning over 35 years."
His manager never stated the reason for death but it was reported multiple times that Biz was ill for a while, Biz peaked at a young age where the rap had no terms in approach and style, he was born in Harlem and then moved to Long Island in his early teens as he did a lot of shows since he was really young and was a hard worker and passionate about his dreams in rapping.
His first solo was in 1988 Goin' Off, produced by Marley Marl and was anchored by singles that remain among his best; "Make the Music with Your Mouth, Biz," "Nobody Beats the Biz,"

He also appeared in movies and played parts of his music in those movies and was in, did tours around the world, but in 2020, he was hospitalized and became ill almost every day as he was hospitalized back and forth until he passed away.
