The Comedian Bill Cosby left the prison hours ago, why is he on viral news today, what is happening with this guy and why was he in prison?
Bill Cosby has been found guilty on three cases of assault on Ms. Constand, she met him in 2002 as they work together in temple university, she later testified in the court against him and stated that she was drugged and abused by Cosby at his home in 2004.
Ms. Constand went to the police in 2005 and stated what happened but the former prosecutor Bruce Castor did not press any kind of criminal charges as she sued Cosby for sexual battery and defamation, as they tried in 2006 to reach for an agreement.
In 2014 and 201, many women came up and stated the same allegations that Cosby had done before, very similar ones but authorities couldn't pursue all these allegations but they opened the case of Ms. Constand. Eventually, they charged him as it was days before the allegation was about to expire because 12 years have passed.
The testimony of other accusers has really helped the judge to see the same pattern that Bill did back in 2004 until 2015, the Supreme Court judges also found that testimony from accusers unrelated to the case had tainted the trial.
In 2018 he was found guilty of drugging and molesting ex-basketball player Andrea Constand. people were surprised by such an act because he was always known for his show in the '80s and famous for the "American Dad" but a lot of women had come up and caused him about the harassment assaults but only criminally was with Ms. Consrand. In the #MeToo movement, his 2018 convection was seen a lot.
the 83-year-old man served in prison more than two years of a three to 10-year sentence at a state prison near Philadelphia.
Lastly, Today 30th of June he has left prison hours after his sexual assault conviction was overturned by Pennsylvania's Supreme Court.
