 What's Happening?


There is a lot happening in Haiti after the president was killed a month ago, and the problems are increasing more and more, today a massive earthquake hit Haiti at least 304 Are Dead due to a 7.2 Earthquake Hits that happened in the country, this country had so many things going on for a while.

The geologists stated that this earthquake is very similar to the 2010 earthquake which had destroyed the whole country then and rebuild it all again, as more than 1,800 people were injured in this situation
as they are expecting the death will continue to thousand as was stated by Haiti's civil protection service (HCPS)


USGS geophysicist Paul Caruso stated to NPR "It looks like it's really bad, There could be a lot of casualties" because it was similar damage to what happened in 2010 as the last earthquake was horrible, the total death in the last earthquake of 2010 ended up with 220,000 dead people and 300,000 people injured all around Haiti and 1.5 million people were displaced.

as Henery (New Prime Minister) stated that he will declare a state of emergency for one month as the country assesses the damage from the disaster and sends teams to the area for search and rescue missions as he also said "to the spirit of solidarity and commitment of all Haitians, in order to unite to face this dramatic situation that we are currently experiencing. Unity is strength"

All this came after the assassination of the last president of Haiti, The President of Haiti (Jovenel Moise) was murdered in his home and his wife is in the hospital after they were attacked by a group of individuals that were not undefined as this statement was stated by the prime minister, as he also stated that they attacked him in his private residence in the middle of the night and shot him dead.

they put that earthquake under the "red flag", the most damaged cities are Les Cayes and Jeremie and the others are less damaged than these two cities, in Port-au-Prince all people felt the earthquake and rushed to the street because of how horrible it was.

After what happened president Biden gave some help immediately, authorized help, to coordinate the effort and help out
